The SS Shieldhall was launched at Renfrew on July 7th, 1955.

She carried the sludge and sewage downriver for 22 years.

To celebrate her Golden Jubilee Year, she will return to The River Clyde to take passengers on special cruises from Yorkhill Quay during the Glasgow River Festival between July 22 and 25 2005.
