Govan High School gave Glasgow sport a boost recently after coming top in a day of schools rugby.
The school was taking part in the fourth Regional Ford Foundation Rugby Extravaganza which saw more than three hundred boys and girls from 17 secondary schools in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Dumbartonshire and Renfrewshire compete in the Tag Rugby Competition.
Scotland Rugby Internationalist James Craig (who is the son of former Celtic Lisbon Lion Jim Craig) presented the top prize to the southsiders after successfully seeing off Greenock Academy in the final.
As well as winning the trophy the kids from Govan had a chance to see the Calcutta Cup which was on display at the event.
