Govan's very own Ground Force has swung into action to help redevelop a patch of wasteland on the waterfront.
Green-fingered Chris McGreevy (9), Jennifer Austin (5), Tracy Lee Arthur (6) and Nikki McKendrie (7), from the Hill's Angels after-school club in Govan, got the clean-up under way with the first tree planting.
They are helping to redevelop a derelict site which was part of the Harland & Wolfe shipyard.
When the site has been cleared a Scottish 'longhouse' will be built in the area and developed as a community college.
The project is being run by the GalGael Trust helped by the Scottish Conservation Trust and Prince's Trust.

The kids get to work!
